Some teams wanted more retention while some opposed it.At the same time, Cricbuzz has said in its report that it may take ten days to two weeks for the new retention policy to come out. In such a situation, a new policy may come out by the end of September. Only after this will it be known how many players the teams can retain before the auction. There is also a meeting of BCCI on 29th September.
