IPL 2025 Mega Auction has been going on in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This auction has brought happiness for Team India’s spinner Yajuvendra Chahal. Chahal’s luck, which was out of the Indian team for the last two years, has taken a turn again.
Chahal, who is considered a clever spinner, has become rich in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. Punjab Kings have spent a huge amount on him. Punjab has included Chahal in its team by paying a hefty sum of Rs 18 crore. Chahal’s IPL record has been excellent. He has taken 205 wickets in 160 IPL matches at an economy of 7.84.

Spinner Yajuvendra Chahal has been out of Team India for a long time. Chalah played his last ODI on 23 January 2023 against New Zealand at the Holkar Stadium. Chahal played his last T20 for India against West Indies on 13 August 2023.
IPL 2025 Mega Auction
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is conducting IPL auction in Saudi Arabia this time. Jeddah has been chosen as the venue. Mega auction is taking place here on 24th and 25th November i.e. Sunday and Monday. More than 1500 players from 16 countries had registered for the Mega Auction of the 2025 season of IPL, But only 577 players have been shortlisted for the auction, which also includes veteran Indian players like Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer.
