GT captain Subhman Gill got fined 24 lakh for maintaining a slow rate against CSK!

In IPL 2024, the match was played between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings on May 10 at Narendra Modi Stadium. Shubman Gill’s team Gujarat kept its hopes alive for the playoffs by winning this match by 25 runs. After winning over CSK, BCCI has fined captain Shubman Gill as well as the entire Gujarat team.

Team found guilty of slow over rate

Gujarat Titans were found guilty of slow over rate in the match played against Chennai Super Kings. Due to which BCCI has imposed a fine of Rs 24 lakh on captain Shubman Gill under the IPL code of conduct. Since Gujarat team has been found guilty of slow over rate for the second time this season, this time all the players of the team have also been fined Rs 6 lakh each. Which also includes impact player.

Gujarat achieved its fifth victory

Gujarat Titans have achieved their fifth win of this season against Chennai Super Kings. So far Gujarat has played 12 matches this season. Out of which the team has faced defeat in 7 matches. Gujarat team can still make it to the playoffs. Gujarat batsmen performed amazingly against CSK. Especially the way Gill and Sai Sudarshan scored centuries, it helped the team a lot in winning.
