Samson had earlier scored a century in the third T20 against Bangladesh last month.
South Africa won the toss and invited India to bat. The Indian team had made a good start by batting first, but they lost the wickets of Abhishek Sharma and captain Suryakumar Yadav within 90 runs.
However, Samson remained at the other end and played a brilliant and aggressive innings which not only took India to power but also saw another century from his bat. After scoring the century, Samson tried to play fast due to which he was caught out at the boundary. Samson was out after scoring 107 runs in 50 balls with the help of seven fours and 10 sixes.

In this matter, he left behind South Africa’s Rilee Rossouw and compatriot Suryakumar. Suryakumar and Rossouw have hit eight sixes each in the T20 match between India and South Africa. Not only this, this is the highest individual score made by a batsman in T20 against South Africa and India. In this matter, Samson left South Africa’s David Miller behind, who won the title in Guwahati in 2022.
