The start date of the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) could not be decided. There was a lot of speculation regarding this, although it has been said for a long time that the tournament could start on March 22. Now once again the statement of IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal has come to light. According to information received from INS, Arun Dhumal has said that he is thinking of starting the tournament on March 22. It is noteworthy that the start date and schedule of IPL 2024 are not being decided due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
Will the CSK match be held on opening day?
According to some media reports, the first match will be played by Chennai Super Kings on the opening day i.e. the day IPL 2024 starts. This means that MS Dhoni’s fans can be happy because their favorite Mahi’s magic can be seen on the opening day itself. Generally, it is seen that only the finalists of the previous season play in the opening match of the next season. Something similar can be seen. However, there is no such rule but the final seal of approval will be given only after the complete schedule is released.
