A bad news is coming about the great cricketer of the Indian cricket team, Mohammed Shami. Shami, who created a stir with his bowling in the ODI World Cup last year, had to undergo surgery due to an ankle injury. His surgery was completely successful and Shami was preparing to return to the field. Shami was also seen bowling in the nets.
According to the report, Shami has once again complained of swelling in his ankle which had undergone surgery. In such a situation, it may take 6 to 8 weeks for Shami to recover completely. After this they will also have to prove their fitness. In November this year, Team India will tour Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
When Shami recovered after surgery, he expressed his desire to play in domestic cricket. However, he was not included in any squad for the Duleep Trophy and Irani Cup. In such a situation, Shami was left to play only in Ranji Trophy for Bengal, but now even this seems difficult due to the re-emergence of ankle injury.
Apart from this, BCCI has also made it clear that if any player wants to make a comeback in Team India, then it will be mandatory for him to play in domestic cricket. No player will be eligible for selection in Team India without participating in domesti ccricket.
