16 teams will participate this season

Women’s Cricket Under-19 World Cup will start from January 18, 2025, which will be hosted by Malaysia. Like 2023, this time also 16 teams are going to participate. There will be a total of 41 matches in this tournament starting from January 18. Its final match will be played on 2 February. All the teams will play warm-up matches between 13 and 16 January.

Samoa team is going to debut in ICC tournament for the first time. Before this, Samoa has not played any ICC tournament in any age group. Let us tell you that Thailand was earlier going to co-host this tournament, but later withdrew its name.

Who is in the India-Pakistan group?

In this tournament, 16 teams have been divided into 4 groups. There will be 4 teams in each group. This time defending champion India is in Group A and West Indies, Sri Lanka and host country Malaysia have been placed in it. Whereas Pakistan, which lost to Team India in the final, is in Group B. Teams from England, Ireland and America are also included in this group.Teams from England, Ireland and America are also included in this group. New Zealand, South Africa, Samoa and a qualifier team from Africa have been placed in Group C. Apart from this, in Group D there is Australia, Bangladesh, Scotland and a qualifier team from Asia.
