₹ 200 Crore Recovered In Income Tax Raids In Odisha !!

IT department has recovered around ₹200 crore in cash so far. This cash was recovered from the Boudh Distillery Private Limited in Odisha. According to the sources, counting is still on! Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reacted to the raids . The PM has assured that every penny will be returned.

 

 200 crore is recovered from Congress MP raided in Jharkhand and Odisha !

Income Tax department have been conducting raids in the Rajya Sabha’s Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu’s premises in jharkhand and Odisha since Wednesday . As per latest reports these raids were conducted in these two states with links to the Boudh Distillery Private Limited। The location from where most of the money was recovered is Odisha.

Though the counting is still ongoing at the premises. The money was found in a cupboard. Theu conducted searches in different locations like the house, office, the liquor distillery in Sundargarh. They searced in the factory and office in Boudh Ramchikata and Ranisati Rice Mill among other locations. According to the sources more than 30 officers are engaged in the counting of cash. Almost eight machines are being used to count the large amount. 150 packets of currency was taken to State Bank of India’s head branch in Bolangir.

“The countrymen should look at the pile of these notes and then listen to the honest ‘speeches’ of their leaders. Whatever has been looted from the public, every penny will have to be returned, this is Modi’s guarantee,” PM Modi said on X.

Sahu joined politics in 1977 . He has been a Congress MP in the Rajya Sabha from Jharkhand since 2010. Sahu is actually a businessman and he and his family has been associated with the party for many years. Income Tax Department also raided Sahu’s business premises in Jharkhand and West Bengal.
