Sharma is a Frist time MLA , he won the Sanganer seat in the recently held Assembly polls. But what do people know about Bhajanlal Sharma? Why he has been chosen? What is so special about him? Who is he? WHO is The new CHIEF MINISTER?

Surprisingly, Bhajanlal Sharma is a man who became an MLA for the first time. He won the Sanganer seat with a number of 145,162 votes against the Congress’ Pushpendra Bhardwaj 97,081 votes. He also served as the state general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party four times.

This 53 year old Chief Minister is from Bharatpur. It is known that he has links to the RSS and ABVP. He completed his Master’s degree from Jaipur’s Rajasthan University in 1993. Mr. Chief Minister also has a graduate degree in Political science.

 

How was Bhajanlal Sharma’s political career? Why he got chosen?

The party was currently looking for someone beyond the ex-chief minister Vasundhara Raje and they wanted a changing of the guard. The BJP in Rajasthan did not choose a CM face like the other states. The former CM met with numbers of MLAs to know how much  support the new CM will get.

The second option for the Chief Minister was Vidhyadhar Nagar MLA Diya Kumari. But as we all know , then Bhajanlal Sharma got elected as the Leader of the BJP legislature party and the new CM of the state.

Bhajan Sal Sharma has been the BJP State General Secretary for more than ten years! Before that he had also served the state as the Board President. Bhajanlal Sharma has been in politics for 34 years. Bhajan Lal Sharma was a very active worker of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad unit in Nadbai. After that he became the Unit President Nadbai and Unit Chief Nadbai. Sharma was also made co-district coordinator Bharatpur and then he became co-district head Bharatpur.

Mr. Sharma was active in ABVP’s Kashmir march in 1990 and also went to jail in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement. Then he got the responsibility of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in 1991-92.
