According to the Delhi Police, the four boys who drowned in Yamuna, are residents of Rampark in Loni in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad. According to the latest reports they had gone to have a bath in the river when the incident took place. Three class 10 students drowned in the Yamuna River near the Burari area of Delhi. This incident happened on Tuesday and one of their friends is still missing, according to the police. Two of them are 17-year-olds, one is 16-year-old, and one is 15-year-old. They left their home at 11 am. But when time passed and they were not returning home, their parents started worring. They initiated a search and reached the Yamuna riverbank and found their clothes.
“A police team immediately reached the Yamuna bank and thereafter informed the Delhi Fire Services. After reaching the spot, the police personnel were informed that four boys, aged between 15 and 17, had drowned in the Yamuna,” the DCP said. “When they did not return, their parents began searching for them, and eventually reaching the Yamuna riverbank where their clothes were found,” deputy commissioner of police Manoj Meena said. He also has said, “The search is still on, If the missing boy isn’t found by Tuesday, the search will continue on Wednesday. The rescue boat team fished out three bodies from the river. A search is underway for the fourth boy,” Meena said.”
