Huma Qureshi defends Deepika Padukone’s controversial comments on Koffee With Karan!

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were the first guest of Koffee with Karan season 8. In that show Deepika Padukone has said some things about her dating life before getting engaged, which became a which controversy. People started trolling her . But, now, Huma Qureshi has defended the “Ram-leela” actress Deepika Padukone in a recent interview.

Deepika had said that at that time, she had recently come out of some difficult relationships. After those she wanted to remain single for some time, but She started dating Ranveer. Although there was no commitment between the two of them until they got engaged, so technically both of them were free to meet other people. Deepika had said, “I also met some people, but never felt any excitement for them,” every time she used to come back to Ranveer.

But the Netizens didn’t take that statement of Deepika casually. People started trolling her, memes were being made about this couple. Some people even pointed out that Ranveer has been technically cheated on!  “I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said ‘I just don’t want to be attached, don’t want to be committed’. And I had fun! And then he came along, so I didn’t commit, until he proposed to me. There was no commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other,” said Padukone. Times went by, trolling also faded away.

But, recently, Huma Qureshi has defended actress Deepika Padukone. Huma said that no matter what anyone do, trolling is obvious to happen. She said, “Ah, what can I say? Can’t say anything. This is absurd. Be normal about this. What’s the problem with this? No, but we celebs are going to present the kind of delicious thing that they (trolls) have been expecting. I don’t know what it is. I don’t think anyone else would know this. We are in a trolling culture. Troll everyone. People troll even if you wear black, they troll even if you don’t wear black. You know what I mean?
