In the short video which has surfaced on social media, Poonam was seen smiling and waving at the paparazzies when she headed to a temple. A few days ago, a post appeared on her social media account that Punam died of cervical cancer! The post created an uproar on social media overnight! But things got really missing when Poonam reappeared on her social media, with a video! In that video she told that she faked her death! This is her first public appearance after that.

It is notable that a Rs 100 crore defamation case has been filed against this actress and her former husband Sam Bombay by Faizan Ansari. Mr Ansari has accused Pandey of “trivializing the seriousness of cancer and manipulating the emotions and trust of millions” by faking her own death. He has urged the authorities to arrest her immediately.
