Cybercrime has reportedly managed to track down the person responsible for leaking the video, who is said to be currently living in Qatar. Aliza Sahar revealed that this person is originally from Okara, but now lives in Qatar. When cybercrime officials were contacted, the man confessed to leaking the video but denied being the person who leaked it. The YouTuber said that if that person was in Pakistan, she would have wanted to meet him.
