The incidents happening against Hindus in Bangladesh are being continuously protested in India. On one hand, Union Minister Giriraj Singh appealed to the United Nations to take cognizance of the matter. Meanwhile, big information has come to light from sources. It is being said that Jamaat-e-Islami-Bangladesh is conspiring behind the arrest of ISKCON priest Chinmay Krishna Das in Bangladesh.
According to sources, Jamaat-e-Islami-Bangladesh is conspiring behind the arrest of Chinmay Krishna Das in Bangladesh. Jamaat is worried about the growing Hindu unity in Bangladesh. At the same time, the main reason for the arrest of Pujari Das is that Hindus are being unified under Jamaat-e-Islami ISKCON.
Chinmay Krishna Das is leading the movement of Hindus and due to his important role, the world is keeping an eye on the atrocities committed on Hindus. Jamaat was also angry with the international support being given to Hindus in Bangladesh. The protests by Hindus attracted international attention, with many human rights organizations and Hindu groups expressing solidarity with the ISKCON-led movement.
Jamaat fears that if the movement intensifies like this, it will give Awami League a chance to return to Bangladesh politics. Jamaat-e-Islami also has a lot of influence in the Yunus government. If Awami League comes back to power, Jamaat-e-Islami may be banned again.
Amidst all this, Union Minister Giriraj Singh has made a big demand from the United Nations. Union Minister Giriraj Singh said, “A government of fundamentalists has come to Bangladesh. The Bangladesh government has come under pressure from fundamentalists. These fundamentalists are vandalizing temples. I thank the Indian Embassy which has taken this matter very seriously but the United Nations should also take cognizance of this matter. Now the time has come that the UN should take cognizance of this.” ISKCON Kolkata appeals to the central government
ISKCON Kolkata vice-president Das said, “We urged the central government to put pressure on the Bangladesh government so that such incidents stop.” He said ISKCON also wants the United Nations to take cognizance of the situation and do whatever is necessary for the immediate release of Chinmoy Krishna Das. Das said Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested for raising the demand for the protection of minorities in the neighboring country.
ISKCON Kolkata spokesperson said, “In recent days, our priests were kidnapped at several places in Bangladesh and some were receiving death threats but the authorities there did not take effective steps to address our concerns despite being informed.” Prominent Hindu leader in Bangladesh Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari has been arrested on charges of sedition and the court refused to grant him bail on Tuesday. Brahmachari was sent to jail amid protests by members of the Hindu community in Dhaka and Chittagong.
