Bomb Blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru; 9 Injured

There was an explosion in Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru at around 1 pm on Friday, in which 9 people were injured. Bomb squad, forensic and NIA teams are investigating the blast.

After the incident, the fire brigade and Whitefield police were the first to say that there had been an explosion in the cylinder. When they reached the spot, the mirror on the wall of the cafe was broken and scattered on the table.

After this, two BJP MPs expressed doubt on the explosion and claimed it was a bomb blast. At 5.30 pm, CM Siddaramaiah himself said – It was a low-intensity blast. A person left a bag in the cafe, after which the explosion occurred.

A battery, a burnt bag, and some ID cards were found at the blast site in the cafe. State Home Minister said- The explosion took place in a sitting area and there was no cylinder there. Investigating the matter. DGP said that they are waiting for the forensic report.

Karnataka DGP Alok Mohan said- There has been an explosion in a cafe in Whitefield, Bengaluru. I went to the spot. CM’s appeal to the opposition – don’t do politics

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that our investigation has revealed that a person had kept a bag around noon. 8 people have been injured in this. We are checking the CCTV footage. We came to know that someone had kept the bag there deliberately. It’s an improvised blast. This should not have happened and we will ensure that it does not happen again.

The CM also said that there should not be any politics regarding this entire matter. We demand that the opposition cooperate with us on this issue. It was a low-intensity blast.

Tejashwi Surya said – bomb blast case, CM should answer

BJP Yuva Morcha national president Tejashwi Surya wrote on social media platform They told me that the explosion was caused by a bag left by a customer. Surya said that it appears to be a case of a bomb blast. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should answer in the matter.
