Kangana Ranaut stands against calling Urmila Matondkar ‘soft porn’ actor!

The bold actress Kangana Ranaut is always on controversies because of her bold comments. The Jhansi ki Rani actress recently joined politics. Recently, Kangana was verbally attacked by the members of Congress and when she expressed her feelings up about their harsh and dirty comments at a recent summit, she was also asked about her comments on Urmila Matondkar. Yes, once Kangana commented on Urmila which were of similar nature. A few years ago, Kangana also called Urmila a “soft porn” actor and that distasteful comment was not appreciated by Urmila’s fans.

Kangana Ranaut now defending her comment to Urmila Matondkar!

When Kangana is asked about her disrespectful comment about Urmila, Kangana started defending herself.  “Is soft porn or porn star an objectionable term? No. It is not an objectionable term. It is a word that is not socially acceptable. Humare desh mein jitna porn star ko respect milta hai, puchiye Sunny Leone se, utna respect poore world mein kisiko nahi mil sakta (No other country treats porn stars with such respect as we do, you can ask Sunny Leone),” the actress said . Kangana also asked that if women in Bollywood are comfortable with terms like “tandoori murgi”, so why a term like “soft porn actor” was seen as violating.

Kangana said that she respects Urmila’s art and said that she believes “seduction is an art form.” Kangana Ranaut also said, “I was asked to comment on Urmila ji asking on what basis was the bjp considering me for a foray into politics. That was her question. I believe there are different realms of art. Sensational art, the one we refer to as massy art, which only titillates or physically stimulates you, that is also an art form. However, that can never be superior to the art that is intellectually motivating, one which stimulates your mind. I personally believe that I belong to that balanced cinema artiste tribe. I have never done item numbers. So, all I said was that if she could join a party (Congress) with her kind of filmography, then I have a more ravishing body of work.”
