Byju’s CEO Arjun Mohan has resigned!

Arjun Mohan was appointed as the CEO of the edtech business Byju’s , almost seven months ago. According to the latest news, the new CEO of byju’s has resigned to take advantage of other opportunities. This was announced by the company on Monday. Mohan took over from Mrinal Mohit, who was the company’s founding partner and head of India business.

Co-founder and CEO Byju Raveendran will take a more hands-on approach!

After Mohan’s resignation, the company’s co-founder and CEO, Byju Raveendran, has promised to be more active role in managing the day-to-day operations of the business. Although Mohan will continue working with the edtech company in an “external advisory role.” Mohan joined Byju after Mrinal Mohit, who was a founding partner and the outgoing head of India business at the company. The reason behind his resignation, is that, he has embarked on a new journey to pursue personal aspirations.

The co-founder has said that goal of this change is to make the business run more efficiently and set the business up for “long-term success.”.“Mohan has done an outstanding job steering Biju’s through a challenging period. We are grateful for his leadership and look forward to his continued contributions as a strategic advisor,” Raveendran said.The corporation has now made the decision to divide itself into three “focused” segments: test prep, online classes and tuition centers, and the learning app.
