Brian Lara feels that in the upcoming T20 World Cup, Team India should start the innings with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. During a conversation with Star Sports, Brian Lara said, ‘I think the entry of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as openers in this T20 World Cup 2024 will prove to be very beneficial for India.’
Gill came at number three
Along with the opening pair, Brian Lara has also suggested the third position in the batting order of Team India. Along with making Virat-Rohit the opening pair, Lara has also named star batsman Shubman Gill as his favorite for the third position. Team India’s squad for the World Cup is yet to be announced.
