UPSC CSE 2023 Topper Aditya Srivastava: who is he? Know everything about him!

The Union Public Service Commission or UPSC has declared their much-awaited results for Civil Services Exam of 2023 on April 16. A total number of 1,016 candidates have passed the examination this year . All of them have been recommended for different central government services. But who is the person to get the top rank? The person who came first in UPSC exam this year is Aditya Srivastava. Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy became second and third, UPSC said.

Who is Aditya Srivastava? How did he ranked top on UPSC exam?

The Civil Services Exam usually gets conducted in three stages every year. The three stages are preliminary, main and interview. The exam is taken by the UPSC to select officers of Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Police Service. The prelims of this year was held on May 28, the mains were held on September 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24 of last year. This year 303 applicants from the other backward classes have passed the exam, 165 and 86 applicants from the scheduled castes  and scheduled tribes fast and printed their names on the prestigious list.

The talk of the nation, Aditya Srivastava, who came first in UPSC 1024, is originated  from the city of Nawabs- Lucknow. Aditya’s journey from the corporate slavery of Goldman Sachs, to the forefront of India’s civil service, can be inspiring for any Indian student. In 2019, Srivastava started his professional journey by with with Goldman Sachs, which is one of the world’s leading investment banks.

But Aditya had dream to a serving the nation, dream. So he decided to devote himself completely to prepare for the UPSC exams and he quit the high-paying investment banking job. Aditya Srivastava came back to his hometown and started preparing for UPSC. There is a saying, if you work hard your dreams will come true. After working hard, he got his result and made himself and his choices proud.
