Calcutta High Court judge Abhijit Gangopadhyay resigned: joining BJP?

Calcutta High Court judge Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay is known to be the “GOD” to the people who wants justice. He is rulings on various education-related issues in the state, this man has stirred huge political debates in West Bengal. But one news has shocked everyone! “I will resign from the post of Justice of Calcutta High Court on Tuesday,” said Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay! Rumours are spreading that he is going to join politics. But what is the actual truth? What is the real reason behind his resignation?

“Will resign from the post of a judge in High Court Calcutta. For the last two or more years I have been dealing with some matters, especially education matters, regarding which a huge corruption has been discovered and unearthed. A large number of important persons in the education sector of this government are now languishing in jail, under trial,” said Justice Gangopadhyay. “Now I should go to the larger people,” said the High court Justice Gangopadhyay, he also said, “In court, a judge deals with the matters which come before him if a person files a case. But in our country and also in our state, West Bengal, there are a large number of very helpless people.”

But people have many questions for him. He said that he will answer all queries of journalists at 1:30 pm on Tuesday in front of  freedom fighter Masterda Surya Sen’s statue in front of the high court buildings after submitting his resignation. There’s many rumours going on about his resignation. As speculations are going on about him joining a political party, the Trinamool Congress and Congress have raised their concerns that he is going to join BJP.

Babul Supriyo said, “I have a prediction (made). I tell you. He will give an interview at the foot of Surya Sen’s statue. Why is it so hot at the foot of the statue of Surya Sen? He sees himself in a different place in the mirror. But today his nature was revealed. It is not just that he will stand for the vote. He is dreaming that… You will see that he may not stand for the Lok Sabha polls. His main goal will be to become the chief minister. The Chief Minister of BJP will be the face. I am telling you today.”
