Dhanteras Dismay: Stock Market Takes a Hit as Sensex Opens with a 211-Point Fall !!

Shares of Infosys, Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Asian Paints, ITC, Nestle India, Reliance, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, and Power Grid were declined! On this day of Dhanteras, the share market rate is expected to go high. But this year, the Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) fell by 109.40 points!!

The share market crashed on Dhanteras!

The Indian stock market started with a loss on the auspicious day of Dhanteras, because of the weak signals from the global market, the Hamas war, and continuous withdrawal from foreign funds. But now as that trading window is open for more than, things are going better. The Profit might not be on a profitable way, but at least it’s not on the worst side now. At the market opening, Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, HDFC Life, Coal India, and Power Grid Corp were trading as the top gainers on Nifty.

The Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) opened with a fall of 211 points at the time of market opening, at 9.15 am. Sensex was seen trading at 64620.90 and Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was trading at 19442.95. The domestic stock market made a weak start in the pre-opening session this morning. BSE Sensex opened at 64927.72 with a rise of 95.52 points, but NSE Nifty opened at 19358.95, falling 36.35 points.

“There is risk-off in global equity markets triggered by a combination of economics and geopolitics. The Israel-Hamas conflict continues to be a major headwind for markets. Though quarterly results of many companies will be announced on Friday, which is the last session of the week. According to the latest reports, the results of ONGC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Coal India, Biocon, Hindustan Copper, Hindalco, Eicher Motors, Life Insurance Corporation of India, HAL, and other companies are about to come.
