“Only Those Invited By Lord Ram Will Come”?

Shiv Sena MP, Mr  Sanjay Raut has said that Sena chief, Mr Uddhav Thackeray still hasn’t been invited for the Ram Mandir’s inauguration ceremony which will held on January 22. He also claimed that the ruling party, BJP, would not invite Uddhav “for the same reasons they had not invited BJP leader L K Advani.”

“Those who in the temple of democracy that is Parliament suspended so many MPs, do they have the moral right to inaugurate the Ram Mandir? The kar sevaks have been sacrificed, so those who have killed democracy have no right to celebrate this inauguration of the Ram Mandir. Lord Ram was democratic and welfare-oriented,” he has said to the media.

But, the trustees of Ram Mandir functionaries has already said that they will invite all the leaders of every recognised political parties.  Mr. Uddhav and the CM Eknath Shinde will also be obviously invited over the next few days.

It is being wispered that Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Sonia Gandhi are also being invited but they are not likely to come.

“politicisation of a religious programme”: said Brinda Karat!

CPIM leader Brinda Karat agreed with her party’s decision, to skip the programme, which she described as the “politicisation of a religious programme”. “No, we will not go. Using religion as a political weapon or to advance a political agenda is not right,” Ms Karat has said to the reporters.

Lord Ram is about faith. the faith of the nation and our forefathers. It is about established principles based on which society can function. It is up to each person to decide how they will view this. but the people who are politicising who are dividing society on grounds of religion,” she also said.
